A short post, as news broke that the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series for the first time in 28 years! My father told me that it was around the time he watched the Phillies win, 28 years ago.

It took them this long to come back!!! Savor the victory and Always root for the Underdog, even when it seems like they won’t come through. Check this pic below of the Phillies Fanatic, their mascot. When I was a kid, this used to frighten me to no end. I think its the mix of green fur and trumpet-shaped nose.

Philly is known for hard-core and very emotional fans, which is from all the years of getting close to victory and then having it fall through your fingertips. One for the home team!
