Fueling for a Run, Obama’s DNC Speech, and Skype…oh and Documents!
Happy Friday, and many of you are in preparation for the long weekend ahead, I’m sure!
Just wanted to link Barack Obama’s “The American Promise” speech from last night at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The man can speak. Word. Can I just say I was walking in my neighborhood last night and could hear this speech blaring from almost every living room. That almost NEVER happens anymore.
Also, I ran for 3.4 miles this morning, but my pace was off and yes, I ended up walking. I need to be more balanced for this weekend’s 10K. Here is a good list of “Best Foods for Runners. ” This list is great, and I LOVE almonds.
And check out this interview with Steve Spalding, the Digital Marketing Manager of Grooveshark, and he’s also a Stumble friend.
Lastly, I took a screenshot of this Skype between myself and Sir Percival, our content manager.
See, here at docstoc, we communicate exclusively through Skype. Even though we may be a foot away from each other. Also, Sir Percival and I talk exclusively about documents. Documents!!!
