A Better Way to Send Scripts or Treatments…Hollywood meets Tech
Just wanted to let all of you guys know about the release of the docstoc “Private document” feature
which is super useful for the following reasons.
1. Share the document without sharing the document file - No more annoying e-mail attachments that take a million years to attach.
2. See any activity on the document- including who has viewed your document and who they have e-mailed your document to. (This information is for your eyes only)
3. See who has viewed your document (even if they’re not logged in), as they have to sign the guestbook in order to view the document
4. Ultimate Protection over your content – When you upload the doc to docstoc, mark it as copyright and they can’t download the document, only view it.
This has proved really useful for me when I need to send my scripts to contacts such as literary agents who’ve requested to read them. The private docstoc document feature could really take off in Hollywood as it eliminates the need for those annoying PDF or Final Draft attachments. Also, you can see if that contact ACTUALLY VIEWED the script and who they e-mailed it to. (And only you’ll be able to see this information)
And when you upload the document as copyright, you can rest assured that they can only view the document, and not download it. It just increases the power you have over your documents and who doesn’t want that?
Check out what Sean and Center Networks think, and of course, it wouldn’t be girlatastartup without a youtube video. Enjoy!

Hey Don, thanks for that. Though… I think Sir Percival (aka our Content Manager) deserves some props for shooting this exciting video/commercial.
Cap, Nice… I look forward to an upcoming rap battle. Don’t be scared.
